Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will distribute the first installment of the monthly aid of Rs 1000 to be given to women under Mukhyamntri Ladli Bahna Yojana in Jabalpur on Saturday. The state-level program for transferring funds under Ladli Bahna Yojana is scheduled to be held on Saturday evening. The Ladli Bahna Yojana aims to provide monthly aid of Rs 1000 to women to help them meet their basic needs. This initiative is expected to benefit 1.25 crore women of the state every month. CM Chouhan expressed his delight over the submission of applications from 1.25 crore women for the scheme. Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of 1.20 crore women has been completed, and 5 lakh are still left. CM Chouhan said that all technical problems will be resolved and all applicants will receive their funds. In preparation for the program, CM Chouhan discussed the outline of the programs to be held at the village and ward level with all the divisional commissioners. Proper arrangements were made for the telecast of the state-level program. The CM also emphasized that the impact assessment of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana should be done and all activities should be documented. The Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is an example of administrative efficiency and the hard work of the entire staff.
