Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued orders to make immediate arrangements to douse the fire that broke out at Satpura Bhawan in the state capital on June 12. The fire, which initially broke out on the third floor of the building where the Tribal department office is located, later spread to the sixth floor. To combat the blaze, the Chief Minister has called upon fire tenders from several organizations such as Airport, IOCL, BPCL, CISF, BHEL, and Raisen district. The traffic in the state capital has been cleared to allow easy access to the fire brigade team. It has been confirmed that the cause of fire was due to the air conditioner catching fire on account of a short circuit. The police commissioner of Bhopal, Harinarayan Chari Mishra has stated that all teams have been engaged to put out the fire. CMO officials are continuously monitoring the operation alongside district administration. Multiple fire brigades have been called upon to extinguish the raging fire.
