Three members of a family, a mother and her two young sons, tragically lost their lives in a devastating collision between their autorickshaw and a container truck in Maharashtra’s Beed district. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in a ghat section near Ghatsavli village.
According to authorities, the accident took place around 8 pm when a speeding container truck collided with the three-wheeler, resulting in the death of the woman and her two sons. Another person also sustained serious injuries in the collision.
The victims have been identified as Nasreen Azim Sheikh, aged 35, and her sons Numan, aged 12, and Adnan, aged 10. They were residents of Islampura in Beed city and were on their way home from Dharur taluka at the time of the accident.
The container truck involved in the collision veered off the road and fell on its side. Local law enforcement from the Pimpalner police station promptly responded to the scene upon receiving the distress call.
