According to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, the Congress has failed to make any corruption charges against the Narendra Modi-led government in the last nine years. He accused the Congress-led UPA government of scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore during their ten-year rule. Reddy cited various welfare measures taken by the Central government, including providing support to farmers, constructing housing and toilets for poor families, establishing IITs, IIMs, and AIIMs, and providing LPG connections to disadvantaged families. He also commended the government’s management of the Covid-19 pandemic, as over 200 crore vaccine doses have been administered, protecting the public from the virus. The Tourism Minister mentioned that the situation in Kashmir has improved significantly, with G20 delegations now being welcomed with roses instead of stones being thrown at security forces.
