Mercedes Benz is set to unveil its upcoming sixth-generation long-wheelbase (LWB) E-Class sedan, internally known as V214. The updated E-Class is expected to hit the market with advanced features, cutting-edge technology, and improved built quality compared to its predecessor.
The luxury sedan will initially be launched in China and will later make its way to India. Both models will share the same body style and design cues, with the only difference being the steering wheel position. The Chinese model will feature a left-hand drive, while the Indian model will come with a right-hand drive.
One significant improvement in the upcoming LWB E-Class will be its size. The wheelbase will be longer compared to the current model in India, providing more space and comfort for passengers. The overall dimensions of the new E-Class will measure 1,880mm in width, 5,092mm in length, 1,493mm in height, with a 3,094mm-long wheelbase.
In China, the LWB E-Class will be available in both a standard version and an AMG line. The front of the vehicle will feature the iconic 3D three-pointed arrows on the updated grill with illuminated surroundings. Other notable design elements include a new style bumper, five-spoke alloys, full LED headlight setup, advanced LED DRLs, new rear quarter glass, and model details on the C-pillar.
Inside, the chauffeur-driven car will boast a three-screen setup. The driver will have a dedicated digital cluster, while the second screen will serve as an infotainment unit. The third screen will provide unlimited entertainment for the passengers during their journey.
As the release of the updated E-Class approaches, automotive enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the enhanced features, larger size, and superior technology that Mercedes Benz promises. The wait will soon be over as the company prepares to launch the E-Class LWB sedan, catering to the discerning tastes of luxury car lovers in both China and India.
