Richland County’s high school sports programs are filled with talented athletes, and the Richland 200 recognizes the top 200 athletes from the region. The latest batch of the Richland 200 is filled with athletes who put their team above themselves.

Leading the pack is Mansfield Senior’s Angelo Grose, who plays football, basketball, and participates in track. Grose is a standout player on the football field, helping lead his team to multiple victories with his impressive skills. But his real value lies in being a leader and mentor both on and off the field, making him an asset to any team he plays for.

Ontario’s Brayden Robinson is a solid two-way linemen and a key player in his football team’s success. Robinson’s dedication and hard work make him an essential part of the Warriors’ roster. He is also a skilled wrestler and may help Ontario back to the top of the MOAC team standings this upcoming season.

Crestview’s Gavin Barker is already an All-Ohioan in football and a player to watch out for in baseball. His sophomore year was marked by impressive performances in both sports and he is poised to make a strong impact in the upcoming season. Barker exudes potential and shows promise for his continued development in the years to come.

Ontario’s Bodpegn Miller is an accurate quarterback who brings his football team to victory with his impressive skills and accuracy. Miller is a rising star in football and a force to be reckoned with on the field.

Madison’s Cameron Kuhn makes the list for his dual talents in both football and baseball. Kuhn is a valuable player both in offense and defense, bringing his team one step closer to victory. He is an essential part of the Rams’ roster and is at the forefront of the team’s future success.

Lexington’s Jack Wyant displayed his talent in golf during his junior year, leading his team to success in the district tournament. As the only returning senior on the team, Wyant carries the weight of leading his team back to the district tournament.

Mansfield Senior’s Andrew Cawrse is a success story of Richland County golf. He qualified for the district tournament last year and achieved what was thought impossible for the Mansfield Senior team since The 1990s. He is set to achieve greater things in his senior year.

Lexington’s Griffin Hughes is a breakout star in golf in his freshman year. He had a performance that helped lead the team to the district tournament. His impressive skills led to high expectations for his future performance.

Plymouth’s Canaan Slone is a tri-sport athlete participating in golf, basketball, and baseball. He made it to the district tournament in golf and started every game in baseball. Slone shows potential and may make the Richland 200 list again in the future.

Shelby’s Ashton Hoffbauer showcased his potential on the golf course, impressing golf enthusiasts during the sectional tournament. He has the potential for an unforgettable senior year on the links.

These athletes are all talented in their respective sports, but their character and leadership qualities make them stand out even more. They embody what it means to be a team player and exemplify what high school sports is all about.
