Englewood man charged in knife attack he recorded on Facebook Live
Englewood police responded to an incident outside Kroger on Union Blvd. late on December 29, where a fight had been reported. According to an affidavit, officers found a man with a severe open wound on the back of his right arm. The victim, along with two others, claimed that a masked assailant had assaulted them with a knife after jumping out of a vehicle.
While officers were speaking to the individuals involved, another man, identified as Terrell Seege, approached them with his hands raised. Seege alleged that one of the people being questioned had broken the windshield of his mother’s car, leading him to come to Kroger to confront them. However, he denied possessing a knife.
Startlingly, Seege admitted to recording the entire incident via Facebook Live. Upon viewing the footage on Seege’s phone, the police discovered that he had indeed brandished a knife during the live stream, stating his intentions to use it in the fight and even declaring his readiness to die. Consequently, Terrell Seege was arrested and is currently detained in the Montgomery County Jail.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan carrying the three individuals initially involved in the fight faces a misdemeanor charge of criminal damaging for breaking Seege’s mother’s car’s windshield, as revealed by court records.
