A man was stabbed Saturday inside a retail store in the Loop.
The stabbing occurred at a Ross store near East Randolph Street and North Wabash Avenue around 2:56 p.m., according to Chicago police. A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach and back following a verbal altercation with another individual. The victim was transported to Northwestern Hospital in good condition, despite initial reports suggesting he was in critical condition. The Chicago Fire Department arrived on the scene just before 3 p.m. but no suspect has been apprehended thus far.
