Man in His 40s Dies in Cornish Crash, Police Appeal for Witnesses
Police authorities in Cornwall are appealing for witnesses following a tragic single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a man in his 40s. The incident occurred off the A30 in the Laneast area on Thursday, August 4, at around 7 am. A white Renault Master van was involved in the collision, prompting emergency services to rush to the scene. Local officers and the roads policing team were also present to launch an investigation into the cause of the crash. The road remained closed for over eight hours before being reopened later in the afternoon.
The victim has been identified as a man from Bude, and the police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward and assist with their investigation. Earlier, a motorcyclist lost their life near St Austell, while a woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the A30 at Hayle.
