Man Hacks Wife and Son to Death over Domestic Issue in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Aug 13 (PTI) – A horrifying incident unfolded in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district on Sunday when a man took the lives of his wife and teenage son before attempting suicide. According to the police, the gruesome act was triggered by a domestic dispute.
The tragedy occurred in Padampur town, leaving the community in shock and disbelief. Jaspal Singh, 40 years old, allegedly engaged in a heated argument with his wife Rupinder, 38, over household chores. In a fit of rage, Singh resorted to violence, hacking his wife and their 14-year-old son, Harmeet, to death using an axe.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Sudha Palawat, revealed that after committing the gruesome act, Singh tried to end his own life by consuming pesticide. However, he was rescued and rushed to the hospital for treatment. His current condition remains undisclosed.
