Around half an hour after the missing person report, the lifeless body of the man was found near the base of the remarkable Castle Rock formation.
State Police, who arrived at the scene, confirmed that the body was discovered at approximately 6:05 p.m. The vicinity of the grisly find was a few hundred yards into the Breakheart Reservation, next to a towering rock formation that stands more than 30 feet tall.
