Man Discovers Rs 10 Lakh Theft by Domestic Help, Launches Investigation
In a shocking incident, a man residing in Noida has claimed that his domestic help and her husband robbed him of Rs 10 lakh. The local police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The man, who runs a private firm working with several government offices, informed the police about the alleged theft. According to the complainant, he lives alone in his flat as his family resides in another city. On August 13, his domestic help named Sonia Khan and her husband Hafiz were working at his place. Sonia, responsible for cooking, and Hafiz, who had come to assist in cleaning, allegedly mixed something in the man’s food, causing him to become unconscious.
When the man regained consciousness, he discovered that one of his lockers was open and approximately Rs 10 lakh was missing. He believes Sonia Khan and her husband Hafiz are responsible for the theft. Upon trying to contact the couple, their mobile phones were switched off, and they did not show up for work.
The police have registered an FIR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to gather evidence and apprehend the suspects.
