Bakersfield Man Convicted of Robbery Spree, Could Face 20-Year Prison Sentence

Later that same day, Gonzalez targeted a food truck in east Bakersfield. Armed with a gun, he confronted an employee and demanded money. As the terrified employee complied, Gonzalez shifted his focus to a second employee, threatening them with the firearm. He swiftly grabbed the cash from the employees and fled yet again.
The relentless efforts of the Kern County Sheriff’s deputies led to Gonzalez’s eventual arrest. Once in custody, he confessed to the robberies, leaving no doubt about his guilt.
