Man Brutally Attacked with Hatchet in County Antrim – Police Investigate
In a shocking incident that unfolded in Ballyclare, County Antrim, a man was viciously attacked with a hatchet, leaving him on the verge of unconsciousness. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has launched an investigation into the brutal assault, which involved a man and a woman.
According to the PSNI, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, August 20th, in the Hillhead Road area of Ballyclare. The male occupant of a house was assaulted by the intruders who had entered armed with a hatchet. During the ordeal, the victim was also tied up. As a result of the attack, he sustained head and face injuries and was nearly rendered unconscious. After the assault, the suspects fled the scene on foot.
