Delhi Police arrested a man on Tuesday for the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl in the Vikaspuri area of the national capital. Officials were alerted by a PCR call on Monday and arrived at the scene where they transported the girl to the hospital. The accused was identified and apprehended using CCTV footage and other investigative methods. A case has been registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and further investigation is ongoing. The victim is currently safe, according to Vichitra Veer, DCP West, Delhi.
