Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing in Delhi after Family Insult, India

A man working as an electrician has been arrested in west Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh area for allegedly stabbing a 29-year-old man to death. The accused, Mohammad Abdulla, reportedly became enraged after the victim had insulted his family. The victim, identified as Vinod alias Vinu, was found dead in a pool of blood on a mattress in his rented accommodation. Police received a call about the incident and immediately launched an investigation. Through footage from nearby CCTV cameras and technical surveillance, Abdullah was identified as the suspect and subsequently arrested. The murder weapon, along with the clothes and shoes worn by the accused, were also recovered. During the investigation, it was discovered that the two men had argued the day before the incident over some outstanding dues. Abdullah confessed to killing Vinod, stating that he had insulted his family. In a separate incident in north Delhi’s Timarpur area, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death by his friends following an argument over a girl. Police have registered a murder case and are further investigating the matter.
