The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board recently organized a two-day familiarization tour (FAM tour) and workshop to promote film shooting and infrastructure development in the state. Renowned members of the film fraternity, including Vani Tripathi Tikoo and Sheel Nimbalkar, attended the event in Bhopal. The Principal Secretary of the Tourism and Culture Department and the Managing Director of MP Tourism Board, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, discussed the scope of filmmaking in Madhya Pradesh. The delegates also visited the Tribal Museum and UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Sanchi Stupas.
Yuvraj Padole, the Tourism Board’s Deputy Director for Films, highlighted the team’s meeting with the state’s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The group participated in an ‘Expert Shot Session’ at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center and met students pursuing film courses and film and theatre artists in Madhya Pradesh. The Managing Director of MPSTDC, Kaushlendra V Singh, and MP Tourism Board’s Additional Managing Director Vivek Shrotriya were also present.
