Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has promised to make necessary amendments to policies to promote the growth of the state’s industrial sector. Speaking at the Madhya Pradesh MSME Summit 2023 in Bhopal, Chouhan said micro, small, and medium enterprises play a critical role in the state’s economy. He said a separate department has been established for MSMEs, 12 schemes launched to promote self-employment and small industries, and expressways constructed to enhance the road network. Chouhan also highlighted the development of clusters of industries for better infrastructure facilities and pledged to create investment corridors in the state.
