I have decided that yoga practice will be made compulsory in all schools of MP, Chouhan said.

This initiative has been applauded by Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar who has referred to Yoga as health insurance at a zero premium. Dhankar noted that Yoga has become a global festival and that it is a proud moment for every Indian to see it celebrated in every corner of the world.

Hundreds of people participated in the event to symbolise the unity of body, mind, and soul, which are the core values of Yoga. Dhankar further emphasised that yoga is not only for the physical and mental health of people but also provides an opportunity for building a good career. He added that yoga is for the welfare of the entire humanity and has become an important skill to live a healthy life.

Mangubhai Patel, the Governor of MP, also highlighted the importance of yoga for physical and mental health.
