Madhya Pradesh CM Seeks Blessings of Uma Bharti Ahead of Releasing First Installment to Bhopal Beneficiaries

Madhya Pradesh‘s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, recently visited former Chief Minister Uma Bharti at her residence in Bhopal. Seeking her blessings before releasing the first installment of the Ladli Behna Scheme, the Chief Minister planted a tree sapling at the Smart City Park and spoke to the media about the various women empowerment schemes in place. The Ladli Behna Scheme provides financial assistance to women, and the Chief Minister acknowledged that these schemes have positively impacted the state’s sex ratio.

Before transferring Rs 1000 to female beneficiaries’ accounts under the Ladli Behna Scheme, Chief Minister Chouhan visited the former Chief Minister‘s residence to seek her blessings. Uma Bharti welcomed him and applied a tilak on his forehead while showering him with petals. She blessed the Chief Minister by saying Sabse Pehli Ladli Behna Mein, and he sought her blessings by touching her feet.

In addition to this, the Chief Minister planted a tree sapling at the Smart City Park and addressed the media. He spoke about the Ladli Laxmi Yojana and the positive impact it has had on the state’s sex ratio. The Ladli Behna Scheme was then launched to empower women, and the Chief Minister emphasized that these schemes were introduced when there was no election in the state.
