Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently performed a bhoomi pujan of a community building and skill development training center at Shri Harihar Tirtha in Vijayraghavgarh. The CM addressed a public gathering after performing the bhoomi pujan and spoke about his aim to change the lives of women and bring smiles to their faces. He mentioned the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, which aims to remove the helplessness of women due to lack of money. The scheme grants Rs 1,000 to women, which will be gradually increased to Rs 3,000.
The CM also talked about the recently-launched Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana, which aims to make arrangements for visiting four pilgrimages. He expressed joy and congratulated MLA Sanjay Satyendra Pathak, who is bringing all the pilgrimages at one place. During the occasion, CM Chouhan also honoured Junapeethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar and Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha President Swami Avdheshanand Giri and Tulsi Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj.
BJP state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma also expressed his views during the occasion and termed it an opportunity to establish a teerth kshetra (pilgrimage area) in the presence of saints. According to him, any work one desires to do in this area would be fulfilled with the grace of God.
In the end, CM Chouhan reiterated his commitment to serving the public as it is worship of God for him. He also promised to extend the necessary cooperation to make the vision of bringing all the pilgrimages at one place a reality.
