In response to allegations of religious conversion in Damoh’s Ganga Jamna school, investigations will be conducted in all educational institutions, including Madarsas, says Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The controversy started after the school’s poster featured Hindu girls wearing hijabs, leading to rumors of religion conversion. The district education officer initially cleared the school of any wrongdoing but following public outcry and directives from the Chief Minister, a probe committee was formed to investigate the allegations.
In response, Chouhan expressed his determination to address the issue of forced conversions and ensure justice. He promised to conduct thorough investigations throughout the state, especially in educational institutions. He made it clear that any attempt to manipulate innocent children into conversion would not be tolerated, and strict action would be taken against those with such intentions.
The controversy has caused the state education department to suspend the recognition of Ganga Jamna School.
The aim of the investigation is to get to the heart of the matter and prevent any further attempts to convert young students. Chouhan has taken a strong stance on the issue and is determined to uphold the law and ensure justice for all.
The matter is still ongoing and will continue to attract attention, but it is important to remain focused on the issue of forced conversions and ensure that educational institutions are safe from such actions.
