Local organizations in Macon, Georgia are joining forces to provide shelter for the homeless during freezing temperatures. The Salvation Army of Greater Macon, Brookdale Resource Center, Loaves and Fishes Ministry, and Daybreak have partnered to ensure that no one is turned away in the cold weather. Over 316 beds are available across these organizations to support those in need. Individuals seeking shelter can visit the designated centers between 4 and 6 p.m. daily. Additionally, the organizations are accepting donations of various items to help those in need.
