Built on a private campus spanning 15 acres in Bhiwandi, Mumbai, the state-of-the-art facility offers 5 lakh sq. ft. of storage space, equivalent to 30,000 pallet positions. It is one of the largest multiclient 3PL facilities in India and complies with the highest industry standards for fire safety.

The newly constructed warehouse also features infrastructure for sustainable resource management. It has the capacity to generate up to 500 KW of solar power, store up to 4.5 lakh liters of water through rainwater harvesting, and operates electric and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles for green distribution.

LP Logiscience has gained recognition as a niche warehousing solution provider and a driver of transformation in India’s warehousing sector. Its focus on innovative tech-enabled operations and commitment to building carbon-neutral and sustainable warehouses has attracted international clientele. The company aims to offer clients the best warehousing and storage facilities while actively contributing to environmental preservation.

Varun Gada, Director of LP Logiscience, expressed his enthusiasm for the warehouse and the future of state-of-the-art storage solutions. He thanked the dedicated team of expert vendors and warehouse developers for making the project a reality and acknowledged the trust and support of clients. Gada emphasized LP Logiscience’s commitment to providing value-added customized solutions that prioritize safety and comply with the highest industry standards. The company’s objective is to drive efficiency through technology innovation while creating sustainable and green warehouses to help clients achieve their carbon emission goals. The Bhiwandi facility is a significant step in that direction.

Sumit Mhatre, the Lead Warehouse Developer involved in the construction, described the warehouse as one of the most unique projects matching international standards of storage solutions. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of a project that required meticulous attention to detail and stringent compliance with safety standards. Mhatre looks forward to creating more state-of-the-art storage solutions for LP Logiscience in the years to come.

In addition to safety compliance and green initiatives, LP Logiscience places a strong emphasis on technology integration in warehousing. Along with standard warehouse management system (WMS) features like inventory accuracy, visibility, traceability, and location management, the company has developed customized solutions for its operations. All LP Logiscience warehouses are cloud-connected, employing handheld terminals for various processes, and incorporating several tech features.

Looking ahead, LP Logiscience aims to accelerate digital adoption, expand its geographical reach, and develop state-of-the-art green warehousing facilities across India over the next five years. The company aims for a growth target of a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30%, supported by its robust business model, IT infrastructure, and commitment to green practices.

LP Logiscience’s parent brand, Liladhar Pasoo, has been a prominent player in India’s logistics sector since 1919. As the logistics sector continues to evolve, LP Logiscience has played a pivotal role in transforming the contract logistics business and securing a substantial market share. With a storage space of 3 million sq. ft. and a distribution reach covering 7,000 pin codes across India, LP Logiscience has revolutionized the contract logistics industry, particularly in the niche specialty chemical market. The company currently operates in 20 locations throughout India.

In conclusion, LP Logiscience’s inauguration of a green, Grade A warehouse exemplifies its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. The company’s focus on safety, technology integration, and customized services positions LP Logiscience as a leading player in India’s rapidly evolving warehousing sector. With ambitious growth plans, LP Logiscience aims to further enhance its digital capabilities, expand its footprint, and continue building state-of-the-art green warehousing facilities across the country.
