A livestock development officer of a panchayat samiti in Maharashtra’s Gondia district was apprehended on charges of corruption. Jayantprakash Ishwardas Karwade, the Livestock Development Officer (LDO), along with his aide Mahendra Hagru Gharde, was caught red-handed by the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) during a planned operation. The duo allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs 11,000.
