WINCHESTER, Ind. – Volunteers in Winchester came together to set up a donation center at the Winchester Community High School Fieldhouse following the devastation caused by an EF-3 tornado. People from various places dropped off essentials ranging from bread to pet supplies, showing overwhelming support for the community in need. John Brutchen, a Winchester City Councilman, worked tirelessly to organize and inventory the donations pouring in. Over an hour’s drive away, Dustin Jackson and his family traveled from Ohio to offer their help, motivated by the desire to assist those facing hardship after a personal tragedy. The Winchester Fieldhouse will remain open for those seeking shelter and meals, serving as a beacon of hope in challenging times.
