India and Singapore have announced plans to prioritize knowledge and skill development in their strategic partnership, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met with key ministers and visited a school in the city-state to discuss the cooperation plans, including opportunities for lifelong learning and building a future-ready workforce. Pradhan also discussed the possibility of widening the scope of bilateral engagement in education and skill development. The ministers agreed to advance mutual priorities in skilling, create new opportunities for lifelong learning and collaborate for the benefit of both countries, as well as other emerging economies, the ministry said.
