An unfortunate accident in Srinagar has claimed four lives. In more positive news, the Union Ministry of Rural Development recently announced that it has allocated an additional 1,99,550 houses to Jammu Kashmir through the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna-Gramin scheme. This brings much-needed relief to the people affected by the housing crisis in the region.

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, recently spoke about the state’s mounting debt, which reached a staggering Rs. 75000 crores under the previous government’s tenure. However, he highlighted that the current government is committed to reducing the deficit by increasing revenue through various measures.
