Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) celebrated World Music Day by collaborating with the Tabitha Enabling Academy in Kohima. The event was in continuation of the celebration of Amrit-Utsav: 100 cities, 100 events and took place on June 21st.
The event was attended by students who presented various musical performances and dances, including a group song called Side by Side, a poem called I am Me by Atunuo and a choreography piece by hearing-impaired students called You raised me up. The performances were impressive and delighted the audience.
Yhunchilo Khing, the General Manager of Planning for KSCDL, thanked the teachers and staff for their dedication in designing and creating the dreams of differently-abled students. Meanwhile, Ruokuokhrienuo, an Associate Analyst IT for KSCDL, encouraged students and teachers to work together in building their future.
The event concluded with a word of gratitude from Asanuo Seb, the Administrator of Tabitha Enabling Academy. She encouraged like-minded individuals to come together to uplift the lives of differently-abled populations.
This event was a tremendous success and highlighted the importance of celebrating diversity and encouraging inclusivity in society. Events like these are necessary to promote empathy and respect for all individuals regardless of their differences. The KSCDL and Tabitha Enabling Academy’s collaborative effort should be commended for their commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all.
