Starting from June 10, 2023, Konkan Railway will follow Monsoon Time Table until October 31, as per Indian Railways. The revised schedules will affect trains departing from their starting stations on and after June 10. The Monsoon Time Table aims to accommodate the challenges posed by the monsoon season and ensure passenger safety.
Some of the changes in train timings include the 12617 Ernakulam Junction – Hazrat Nizamuddin Daily Mangala Lakshadweep Express leaving Ernakulam Junction at 10:10 hrs, three hours and 15 minutes earlier than its present departure time. Train No.12431 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Tri-weekly Rajdhani Express will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14:40 hrs, which is four hours and 35 minutes earlier than the present schedule.
The changes are expected to help passengers plan their journeys more easily. Travelers are advised to check with the railway department before traveling during the monsoon season.
