Kharge demands Manipur CM’s removal as the first action for PM Modi

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has called for the sacking of Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh, amid escalating violence in the state. Kharge questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the matter, claiming that the first thing Modi should do is relieve Singh of his duties if he is genuinely concerned about the state. Kharge added that the BJP government’s propaganda could not mask their failure in handling the Manipur crisis. Reports suggest Union Home Minister Amit Shah has finally spoken to Modi on the situation in Manipur. Kharge stated, Every Indian is waiting for him to speak.
