The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial involves five men accused of the premeditated murder of the former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper. Meyiwa was killed at the family home of Zandie, one of the accused, in Vosloorus, Gauteng, in October 2014, in what was supposedly a failed robbery attempt. The defendants are facing charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of firearms without a license, and possession of ammunition.
