Joint Operation by BSF and Punjab Police Brings 2.5 kg Narcotics Seizure in Fazilka

The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Punjab Police jointly conducted an operation and recovered around 2.5 kilograms of suspected narcotics in Fazilka, Punjab. The consignment was dropped by a Pakistan drone in the district. During the search, the authorities apprehended two suspects, and based on information provided by one of them, three packets of suspected heroin were found inside their house. Further investigation is underway, and the case has been registered. Another similar incident occurred on May 29, when four kilograms of suspected narcotics were recovered in Taran Taran district through a joint operation with Punjab Police. The authorities suspect that Pakistan has been using drones to smuggle drugs and other illegal items into India.
