Speaking on the matter, JD(S) city unit president H M Ramesh Gowda stated, We strongly condemn these defamatory posters targeted at our party leader H D Kumaraswamy. Such acts only breed animosity and disrupt the harmony of our city. We urge the police to take swift action against the culprits involved.
Former MLC Chowda Reddy Thoopalli added, It is unfortunate that some elements resort to these illegal tactics to tarnish the reputation of our leaders. We expect the police to investigate the matter thoroughly and bring those responsible to justice.
As they lodged the complaint, the JD(S) leaders stressed the importance of maintaining a peaceful political atmosphere and encouraged all parties to engage in constructive dialogue rather than resorting to defamation tactics.
