The Trendy Wellness Practice Jamie-Lynn Sigler Does Every Single Day

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, known for her roles in The Sopranos and Entourage, opens up about how her self-care routine has evolved since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). In an exclusive interview with Bustle, Sigler shares how MS has influenced her approach to wellness and reveals the reality shows she watches to unwind.

For almost 15 years, Sigler kept her MS diagnosis a secret, but she now emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and being part of the supportive MS community. Teaming up with Novartis, Sigler has created a three-step guide to help others navigate relapsing forms of MS (RMS).

While MS has impacted various aspects of her life, it has also made Sigler more attuned to her body and the importance of self-care. I am a beast with my self-care, she says. RMS has made me focus heavily on it and come to prioritize it.

Sigler reveals that cold plunging has become an integral part of her daily routine. Spending 30 to 40 minutes a day cold plunging has become a calling for her, satisfying both her body and mind. Additionally, she stretches before bed to release the day’s stressors and incorporates meditation into her routine.

In terms of her mornings, Sigler ensures that her kids are ready for school before focusing on herself. She starts her day with cold plunging and meditation for a refreshing and centered start. As a coffee lover, she enjoys a unique iced coffee recipe with hazelnut milk, raw cream, and a touch of maple syrup, which she describes as a morning treat.

Sigler acknowledges the importance of physical activity and engages in exercises daily, including physical therapy and various exercises, even when she’s out and about. She believes in doing the most she can while still taking her RMS into account.

When it comes to de-stressing at the end of a long day, Sigler finds solace in watching reality shows. She didn’t hold back in revealing her guilty pleasure and go-to way to unwind.

Through it all, Sigler believes that the best wellness advice she has received is to always do her best. She doesn’t put pressure on herself to achieve specific goals but instead focuses on giving her best effort in whatever she does.
