India has achieved a bigger footprint on the global platform under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Speaking at a special media briefing, Jaishankar listed the achievements made by the government, noting that India had become a more self-assured country that was contributing more to the world and communicating its successes more effectively. He highlighted the country’s development partnership with Namibia, Guyana, Mozambique, Kenya, and Mauritius as an example of India‘s growing reputation as a development partner and giver of assistance. Jaishankar also noted India‘s stature at the global platform in mechanisms including Quad and I2U2, but said that India had a good start that had not reached its end yet.
