Jaishankar discusses cooperation with Namibian Foreign Minister in talks

Indian External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, met with Namibia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on June 5th to discuss areas of cooperation. The two leaders focused on advancing bilateral relations in energy, green hydrogen, transport and connectivity, digital, pharmaceuticals, food security, science and technology, as well as culture, wildlife collaboration and eco-tourism. Jaishankar also co-chaired the first joint commission of cooperation between India and Namibia with Nandi-Ndaitwah, emphasising the importance of building contemporary cooperation on long-standing political goodwill and their growing development partnership. Both leaders shared similar perspectives on regional and global issues, driving their working together in international forums.
