Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule is facing criticism once again, this time from TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh. Lokesh, while addressing a public meeting in Buchireddypalem, accused the Chief Minister of neglecting police personnel and failing to provide them with adequate security. He went on to claim that the men in uniform were even resorting to taking their own lives due to a lack of support from the administration.

Lokesh stated that there was a time when the entire police force would come together to assist an officer in distress. However, under Jagan’s rule, even if a police officer commits suicide, there is no response from the authorities. He described the current situation in the state as alarming, suggesting that if police personnel are afraid for their safety, it is even worse for the common man.

The TDP leader highlighted the case of Ananda Rao, a police inspector from the Dalit community, who allegedly took his own life due to pressure exerted by local YSRCP leaders in Tadipatri. Lokesh accused Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of grave injustice and promised to support the bereaved family. He further pledged to order a probe into the factors that led to Ananda Rao’s suicide if the TDP comes to power in the state.

Lokesh also expressed concern for the safety of minorities under Jagan’s rule. He criticized the Chief Minister’s decision to roll back welfare schemes implemented by the previous government and vowed to reinstate them if the TDP returns to power. In addition, Lokesh accused local MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy of engaging in illegal activities and defrauding nationalized banks.

The TDP leader made several promises to the public, including completing pending projects, building TIDCO houses for handloom workers, and implementing the Maha Sakthi scheme for women’s welfare. He also assured farmers of receiving minimum support prices for their crops and aquafarmers of power subsidies and other benefits.

Lokesh warned those who harass TDP activists that they will face consequences, promising a judicial inquiry against anyone who files false cases against his party members. He stressed that regardless of their location, they will have to face the law.

The article sheds light on the criticism faced by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and the allegations made by TDP leader Nara Lokesh regarding the lack of security for police personnel and the need for assistance from the administration. It highlights Lokesh’s promises to support the bereaved family, investigate the reasons behind Ananda Rao’s suicide, and reintroduce welfare schemes if the TDP comes to power. The article also mentions Lokesh’s accusations against the local MLA and his pledges to complete pending projects and implement various initiatives for the welfare of different sectors.
