A curtain-raiser event for Investor Connect, which brought startups and investors together, was held in Bengaluru, India on June 17, 2021. BHIVE workspace and India Startup Foundation partnered for the event. J.A. Chowdary, Chairperson, and Convenor of India Startup Foundation expressed his commitment to empowering entrepreneurs with a vision to reimagine the startup landscape in India. The concept of Investor Connect allows for freewheeling chats with fellow startup founders and investors, engaging them through fireside chats on topics such as GTM strategy, customer acquisition, and handling economic headwinds.

Meanwhile, Shesh Paplikar, CEO of BHIVE Workspace believes that the organization is committed to empowering the startup ecosystem by creating a conducive environment for them. BHIVE Workspace is also a partner with Startup Karnataka and Karnataka Digital Economy Mission’s (KDEM) Beyond Bengaluru Initiative which aims to promote emerging technology clusters across the State.

The event was a huge success, and over 500 growth stage startups, along with early-stage ones, converged with more than 20 leading Venture Capitalists, HNIs, and Angel Investors, CEOs, and CXOs, as part of the curtain raiser event at Bengaluru leading up to the India Startup Fest. More than 600 RSVP registrations were recorded, with an impressive turnout of more than 500 attendees, creating an environment conducive to collaboration and growth.

The event’s success paved the way for the India Startup Fest’s highly anticipated 2023 edition, which will be held from August 10-12 in Muddenali, Bengaluru. Organized by India Startup Foundation, India Startup Fest aims to engage, educate, and empower startups toward creating innovative and sustainable enterprises. It aims to bring over 10,000 startups together to advance their missions and drive towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The event marks a significant milestone for the startup community in Bengaluru and highlights the growing commitment towards fostering a fledgling startup community that will enable them to unleash their full potential.
