Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was the keynote speaker at the All India Wrestling, Strongman, and Mallakhamb Conference held at Bhopal’s Dussehra Ground. The conference aimed to inspire and empower the youth of the country. The event brought together members of the Kirar, Dhakad, and Malav communities from different parts of India.
During his speech, the Chief Minister shared his personal journey and experiences, highlighting the importance of education and entrepreneurship besides agriculture. He emphasized the need to provide opportunities for youths to start their own startups, which would bring prosperity and eliminate poverty. The event also recognized talented youngsters who made significant contributions to their communities.
The conference was jointly organised by the All India Wrestling Association and the All India Strongman Association. National Spokesperson and Minister of the All India Kirar Kshatriya Mahasabha Brajesh Chauhan were in attendance to honour the individuals from the communities who attained senior legislative, ministerial, former ministerial, and parliamentary roles, both in government and non-governmental organizations.
Prior to the event, the Chief Minister also attended a grand convention of the Kalchuri community held in Bhopal’s Arera Colony, Vasanth Kunj. The convention aimed to promote the Kalchuri pilgrimage site Maheshwar and demanded that 19 to 20 tickets be allocated for community representatives in the upcoming legislative assembly elections. The community holds a significant contribution to Chouhan administration, whose progress is vital for the nation’s growth.
The Chief Minister reinforced his support for the upliftment of society and emphasized the importance of community progress in building the nation. The convention provided a platform to promote and empower the community and aim towards a prosperous and inclusive future together.
