The 16th edition of TiEcon Mumbai was held at the Jio Convention Centre, BKC, and concluded on a positive note, calling for a sustainable and anti-fragile India. The conference showcased various revolutionary ideas and solutions to promote sustainable business building, accelerate growth, and drive intelligent engagement. TiE Mumbai‘s President, Ranu Vohra, praised the lively debates and discussions on issues such as Mumbai‘s potential as a startup hub, Gen AI‘s role in India, and funding availability. The event also launched a comprehensive report titled Era of Resilient Growth? by BCG, highlighting key macro trends in Indian startups, such as generating a net-zero target by 2070 and focusing on climate and sustainability.
Speakers at the event emphasized the need to build a more resilient economy that is inclusive, innovative, and environmentally-friendly. The conference had designated workshops, masterclasses, power-packed panel discussions, and over 140 startups displayed their products to demonstrate innovation in India. TiE, founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, has been supporting entrepreneurs globally by providing mentorship, education, networking opportunities, and incubation to foster entrepreneurship. It is their mission to enable the next generation of entrepreneurs via mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation. TiE has more than 11,000 members across 17 countries, including over 2,500 charter members.
