IndusInd Bank has partnered with technology company Wise to offer low-cost online inward remittance services to non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the US and Singapore. Through its multi-partner remittance service platform, Indus Fast Remit (IFR), and the Wise Platform, the service offers multi-currency inward remittances to NRIs. The move is part of Wise’s infrastructure offering for banks and non-banking entities in India, and customers can access transfers directly through Indus Fast Remit or its internet banking platform. NRIs who use the service will be able to compare rates and know the exact credit amount without levied mark-ups. The integration marks the launch of Wise’s service for banks and non-banks in India.
