As Chief Technology and Product Officer, Stephen will be instrumental in implementing inDrive’s technology and product development strategies. He will oversee the scaling of inDrive’s platform, as well as the introduction of new features to support the company’s growth and diversification efforts.

Stephen brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Previously CTO at Careem in Dubai and Head of Engineering at Grab in Singapore, he has led successful transformations and navigated complex acquisitions. Stephen’s impressive career also includes positions at IBM, Xerox Research, and Sun Microsystems. Holding 20 patents across multiple countries, Stephen’s innovation and expertise will be invaluable to inDrive’s continued success.

Born and raised in South Africa, Stephen graduated from Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and biochemistry. He has also completed the executive leadership program at Harvard Business School, further solidifying his strategic acumen.
