India’s oldest party, the Congress, seems to be taking inspiration from the youngest political party in the country, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as they implement schemes that were first introduced by the AAP as ‘Kejriwal ki Guarantee.’ The latest scheme is free bus travel for women in Karnataka, which was recently put into effect by the Congress government. Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, tweeted that this move will empower women and boost their savings. The Congress government in Karnataka has already fulfilled four of the five main guarantees promised during their election campaigns, namely 200 units of free power to all households (Gruha Jyoti), Rs 2,000 monthly assistance to the woman head of every family (Gruha Lakshmi), 10 kg of rice free to every member of a BPL household (Anna Bhagya), and Rs 3,000 every month for unemployed graduate youth and Rs 1,500 for unemployed diploma holders (both in the age group of 18-25) for two years (Yuva Nidhi).

Raghav Chadha, an AAP leader, took to Twitter to express the party’s version of the current situation. He said that India’s oldest political party is taking notes from India’s youngest as the Congress implements schemes that were first introduced by AAP. Chadha added that the Kejriwal Effect is evident, as the AAP’s ‘Kejriwal ki Guarantee’ has made its way to the ruling party’s schemes in Karnataka. The AAP is known for its welfare schemes that target the common people, and it seems like the Congress government in Karnataka is following suit.

The Congress government’s efforts aim to empower women and boost their savings. Free bus travel is a huge step towards the government’s goal as it will significantly cut transportation costs for women, especially those who need to travel long distances for work or education. The Congress government’s efforts to fulfil their election promises have been praised, and the four guarantees they have already implemented have made a positive impact on the lives of people in the state.

In conclusion, it is evident that the Congress party is taking notes from the youngest political party in the country. The AAP’s various welfare schemes have been hugely successful, and it seems like the Congress government in Karnataka is following in their footsteps. The free bus travel for women will undoubtedly make a positive impact, and it shows the government’s commitment to empowering women and boosting their savings. With four guarantees already fulfilled, the Congress government in Karnataka is making significant efforts to improve the lives of the common people.
