Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia praised the BJP-led central government for completing nine years in office and transforming India’s image from colonial to self-reliant. In a press conference, Scindia noted that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked on heritage grounds, which is evident with the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Over nine years, India’s economy has experienced profound growth. The country holds the title of the fastest-growing economy and the second-largest mobile manufacturer worldwide. Additionally, India boasts the highest global fintech adoption rate and the third-largest start-up ecosystem globally. Scindia expressed the government’s commitment to connecting underprivileged and oppressed citizens with mainstream objectives while empowering them. Furthermore, he lauded the government’s achievements in areas directly impacting the farmer’s welfare, such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana and Ayushman Yojana.
The BJP-led central government is a prominent political party in India that prioritizes the development of the country. Since its establishment in 1980, the party has championed Hindu nationalism, economic liberalization, and social conservatism. The party gained popularity following the 2014 General Elections when the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the head of the government.
Jyotiraditya Scindia is the Minister of Civil Aviation and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ruling party of India. Before joining the BJP, Scindia was a member of the Indian National Congress and briefly served as a minister in the United Progressive Alliance government. Scindia is the grandson of Jivajirao Scindia, the last titular Maharaja of Gwalior.
