India’s Global Stature Reflected in G20 Presidency: Governor Dhankhar

India’s Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, spoke about the country’s global stature during the 9th International Yoga Day celebrations in Jabalpur. Dhankhar emphasized India’s transformation and its vital position in the world, stating that its economic strength now surpasses that of its former rulers. He hailed the country’s upcoming assumption of the G20 Presidency as a significant achievement. Dhankhar also commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and his efforts to promote yoga worldwide. The Vice President encouraged Indians to embrace yoga, which has become an economic force and provided jobs for skilled teachers. He noted that India had become a leading provider of yoga teachers all over the globe. The International Yoga Day is celebrated on the longest day of the year, and India’s farsighted decision to bring it to the UN was supported by 193 countries worldwide. The event later today at the UN, according to Dhankhar, is historic, and he encouraged every Indian to participate.
