The Indianapolis Triple-A team faced a tough loss to the Buffalo Blue Jays, with a final score of 8-3. Buffalo dominated in the seventh inning, scoring five runs that ultimately sealed their victory. Despite the defeat, center fielder Chris Owings showcased his talent by hitting his 11th home run of the season, a powerful two-run shot. Shortstop Nick Gonzales also made an impact with a solo home run, bringing his total RBI count for the season to 36. Designated hitter Domingo Leyba had an impressive performance, going 3 for 4 at the plate.

The game got off to a rocky start for Altoona, as they allowed six runs in the first inning. Pitcher Aaron Shortridge struggled on the mound, allowing 13 runs (12 earned) on 12 hits with two walks and four strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings. Despite the disappointing result, second baseman Tsung-Che Cheng managed to hit a three-run homer, providing a glimmer of hope for Altoona. Catcher Eli Wilson also contributed to the offense with a home run and a 2 for 4 performance at the plate. Center fielder Matt Fraizer extended his hitting streak to 16 games with a single. Relief pitcher Justin Meis delivered a solid performance, throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings.

In high-A action, the Greensboro team experienced a tough 9-0 loss to the Hickory Rangers. Pitcher Derek Diamond struggled on the mound, allowing five runs on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts in four innings.

In low-A action, the Bradenton team had a successful doubleheader against the Palm Beach Cardinals. In Game 1, Bradenton secured a 3-1 victory, thanks in part to catcher Omar Alfonzo’s solo home run. Left fielder Charles McAdoo and shortstop Javier Rivas also knocked in runs to contribute to the win. Pitcher Dominic Perachi performed well, allowing just one run on two hits with three walks and five strikeouts in four innings. Relief pitcher Antwone Kelly played a crucial role, tossing two scoreless innings with three strikeouts and securing the win.
In Game 2, Bradenton came out on top with a 5-4 victory. Catcher Geovanny Planchart played the hero with a walk-off single in the eighth inning to score second baseman/shortstop Mitch Jebb. Jebb had an impressive game, going 2 for 3 with two doubles and two RBIs. Center fielder Lonnie White Jr. contributed with a hit, while McAdoo added another RBI. Relief pitcher Danny Carrion earned the win by throwing a no-hit inning of relief with a walk and a strikeout.
