Indian startups raised $174 million in funding last week, boosted by a $100 million investment in eyewear retailer Lenskart by private equity fund ChrysCapital. However, funding activity across startups declined 83% compared to the same period last year, when firms raised $1.05 billion across 60 rounds. Early-stage and seed-stage investments stood at $28.2 million and $10.4 million respectively, while late-stage funding reached $135 million. MSME lender Indifi Technologies raised $35 million as part of its latest funding round, with participation from ICICI Venture and existing investors including Flourish Ventures and OP Finnfund Global Impact Fund I. Fintech platform Basic Home Loan raised nearly $5 million, while agritech start-up Unnati Agri raised $3.8 million.
