Indian Navy’s INS Vagir arrives in Colombo for its first foreign port call

The Indian Navy’s Kalvari-class INS Vagir has made its maiden foreign port call at Colombo in Sri Lanka. On Thursday, the submarine hosted Senior Sri Lankan officials including the State Minister of Defence, Secretary of Defence, and Commander of Sri Lanka Navy. The submarine was on an operational visit to Colombo from June 19 to June 22 to commemorate the 9th edition of the International Day of Yoga. This visit is aligned with the theme of ‘Global Ocean Ring’. The spokesperson of the Indian Navy took to Twitter to announce the submarine’s visit.
