The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is all set to kickstart the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 tomorrow, February 3. Step 1: Visit either the GATE 2024 website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in or the GOAPS portal at goaps.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2: Look for a link or button labeled GATE 2024 Admit Card Download or Hall Ticket Download.
Step 3: Enter your enrollment ID/email address and password used during registration.
Step 4: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Carefully review all details and download the PDF file.
Step 5: Print out the admit card on A4-sized paper.
Candidates must keep in mind a few important instructions for the day of the exam:
1. Timely Entry: Candidates should arrive before the examination’s starting time to ensure a smooth entry. Entry will be permitted up to 30 minutes after the official starting time, without any exceptions.
2. Seat Allotment: Applicants can occupy their assigned seats 40 minutes before the exam’s scheduled start. They can read the exam instructions 20 minutes prior to commencement.
3. Scribble Pad Usage: Each candidate will receive a scribble pad for rough work during the examination. Before use, candidates must write their name and registration number on the scribble pad. Only one pad is allowed at a time, and the first pad must be returned before a second one is obtained.
4. No Leaving During Exam: Once the examination begins, candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall for any reason. They must remain until the scheduled end time.
5. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, physical calculators, wallets, watches of any kind, electronic devices, books, papers, loose sheets, pen/pencil boxes or pouches, and similar items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
